Bayview Hunters Point Multipurpose Senior Services AARP Money Management Program

Description

The Adult Day Health Program serves the primarily African- American community of the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. The program is designed to assist participants with physicaland/or mental challenges. Many seniors are at risk of nursing home placement. Through the services offered at the center, participants are able to remain in their own homes. In addition, the AARP money management service ensures that participants' bills are paid on time, that financial problems such as credit card debt are addressed, and that financial abuse is prevented.
