Kids' Turn San Diego

Description

KTSD serves children and families experiencing the challenges of family separation and divorce. Our program is unique in that we bring the family together to learn the same skills at the same time with each parent participating in a different group and the children grouped by age. Parents learn how their words and actions impact their children, how they must always put their children first in every decision they make and they learn new coping skills resulting in better communication with their co-parent. Children learn that they are not alone, that the divorce of their parents is not their fault and they learn new ways of expressing their feelings to their parents.
