Environmental and experiential education are intentionally combined in a powerful manner creating a bridge between our facilitators and the youth particpants, breaking down traditional heirarchal barriers while easing the ability of teenagers to grasp sophisticated concepts. These concepts, foundational building blocks, such as teamwork, cooperation, communication, fortitude and patience are the oft absent but ever necessary tools required for the successful journey from adolescence to early adulthood.
From our ocean outpost; Cow Island, a 26acre magical respite three miles downbay from Portland, Maine we train youth in the fine arts of stewardship, leadership and fellowship.
