Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity believes that everyman, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. We build and repair houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations. Our partner families purchase these houses through no-profit, no-interest mortgage loans or innovative financing methods.

Description

Habitat for Humanity of Milledgeville/Baldwin County is an ecumenical, non-profit, Christian ministry dedicated to the elimination of substandard housing. We provide opportunities for families by partnering with them to build decent, affordable housing and improving the quality of life of our partner families, the neighborhoods in which they live and our community as a whole.

Habitat MBC helps fund these builds and projects through the proceeds from their ReStore. The ReStore sells new and gently used donated furniture, appliances, building materials and homegoods at a portion of retail value.
