Mission Statement

To provide English language learning opportunities to immigrants and refugees in a multi-cultural environment within the greater Washington County area.

Description

The Beaverton Literacy Council consists of community representatives, learning site coordinators, teachers, tutors and volunteers dedicated to providing English language learning opportunities for immigrants and refugees in classes and small groups ranging from early beginner to advanced conversation and computer literacy.

The ongoing learning opportunities and held at centrally located sites, i.e., libraries, community centers, churches and housing complexes.
