Mission Statement

ScriptEd immerses low-income students in the technology industry through rigorous web development courses at their schools, engaging field trips to prominent technology firms, and intensive full-time summer internships with our industry partners.

Description

ScriptEd students have the creativity and potential to be drivers of innovation and technology in the 21st century. Yet, few low-income students have access to the resources and mentorship necessary to pursue a technology career. Not only is Computer Science missing from their high school course offerings, online or private courses are out-of-reach.

We aim to equip students with the fundamental skills and experiences to ensure that they become CREATORS of technology.

I volunteered with ScriptEd for more than two years. I taught kids it two different schools, it was a really great experience and I learned a lot myself. ScriptEd people was very helpful and supportive all the way.
