About Hope for Kids In 2013 Hope for Kids was formed to help Children with Disability in the Volta Region . Our purpose is to bring hope, healing and happiness to children and families with Disability, Hope for Kids can only achieve this through two means by your donations and Volunteering our time.
VISION
Help create awareness and educate the community about Disability, Possible, prevention and Causes of Disability, preparing Disable children to face the future. Our organisation's vision is to help children with disability have a healthy life and better future- Our aim is to support disabled people to participate as equal members of their families, communities and societies.
MISSION
Educate Women of child bearing age about possible disease that can cause disability eg Polio. Help and support Mothers of disabile Children emotional and physically, set up training programmes for Children with disability eg Skills Training centres. Their skills can be put to good use and their products sold in the international market, helping provide accessibility equipments for the severely disable. Help build and strengthen sustainable future for children with disability through skills training , identify institutional and initiatives for health and development partnership at all levels for all children with disability, work with the Ministry of Education to identify how schools can build ramp access and install disabled toilets so that disabled children in the community can go to school, or a health volunteer may provide training to local colleagues in community-based rehabilitation services or physiotherapy techniques.
