Description

Riverside State Park is a big place with lots of projects that need volu nteers. Individuals and groups are invited to get involved!

Vo lunteer Coordinator Megan Ortega matches people t hat love working outdoors to projects that match their skills and abilities.

Volunteering in the park is fun, good for you, and good for the park. Volunteers can be seen constructing a new post and rail fence as part of the Trail 25 loop project near the ORV Area. Other volunteers help with events like the Zombie Hike and Winter Wonderland, work with trail crews, clean up litter throughout the park, and some donate their special skills like electrical wiring, pipe fit ting, con struction, chainsaw and chipper work, and more.
