The Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation is a statewide, not-for-profit, membership organization that advocates advancement of bicycle and pedestrian access, safety and education in Missouri.

Description

The Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation works to create a world-class bicycle and pedestrian network across Missouri, improve safety for all road users, encourage more bicycling and walking, and build a movement around bicycling and walking across Missouri.

MoBikeFed works with state agencies like MoDOT and Missouri State Parks, as well as cities and counties across the state to promote Complete Streets, Bicycle and Walk Friendly Communities, Safe Routes to School, routine funding for bicycle and pedestrian transportation along with other transportation projects, implement bicycle and pedestrian safety education, work for traffic justice for nonmotorized users, work to extend and expand the state's trail networks, and work towards comprehensive statewide trails, bicycle, and pedestrian plans.
