The Survivor Glam Squad’s mission is to provide female cancer survivors with esteem building opportunities, such as professional makeovers, education and motivation. Through donations and volunteer efforts, SGS will empower women and girls to get back on track after cancer treatment.
First introduced in the UK by Keely Webster, in 2012 the concept was introduced to the United States. The nation’s first Glam Squad event took place in Savannah, Georgia, where women received professional makeovers and photo shoots, along with tips from make-up artists, hairstylists, photographers and fashion stylists. Since that time, the Glam Squad is on a roll glamming up the East Coast
