Mission Statement

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Description

Volunteers are need to participate in the orginal walking fundraiser; WalkAmerica 2006 April 30. There are two potential places to volunteer, one in York John Rudy Park from 8:00am to 3pm and another in Lancaster, Greenfield Corporate Center from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Volunteers are welcome to volunteer for all or part of the day. Volunteers are needed to register walkers, hand out prizes, serve food, give refreshmant to walkers at check points and finally to help set up and tear down the walk sites.
