I am honored to know Jack and Judy Spear from my work in Chicago working on sustainable agriculture and public education on the issue of genetically engineered food and crops.
Jack and Judy hosted several of our events in exchange for working on some projects on their land, hosted and me personally for a retreat of rest and rejeuvenation from my demanding work.
They provide a magical, warm, welcoming, very comfortable space and atmosphere, and I have wonderful memories of preparing many delcious feasts in their spacious kitchen which connects to the large living/great room area.
As hosts they are vastly knowledgeable on many areas of sustsainability globally and locally and are adept at accomodating and guiding small and large groups.
Since my stay in 06 I have heard nothing but wonderful things from others who have spent time there.. thanks to the space provided by Jack and Judy, their kindness, generous spirit, and creativity.
Enjoy your stay!
