Mission Statement

Autism Speaks is enhancing lives today and offer a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow. Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We do this through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of people with autism; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

Description

The Autism Speaks Walk is our signature fundraising event. Autism Speaks Walk is powered by the love of parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, relatives and support providers for people with autism. With every step you take and every dollar you raise, you help enhance lives today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.

Not sure I have the best memory, so not a very likely, but my memory will have to do for a likely, if only I could remember….uhhhh. The cause of this organization is more than just notable, or caring for a group of people. Their aim has soared against what people today are used to, or what they can believe possible. The goal of Autism Speaks is more than crazy, its awe-tistic, meaning it's inspiring, it's wonderful, and it's meant to help a group of people in an unimaginable way. They're changing the world in more than a small step, their impacting a whole entire group of people, who are taken to badly, so what, all people are created equal; right? So…, these people need a life which is fair, a life that they want, or at least what we want for them to have, aka the best we can possibly give. So recommending a group people trying to help another group of people in such a way that will benefit the group at a disadvantage, is something worth recommending. Thank You Very Much, Awe-tistic!
