Activities:
We have divided our activities in to three main categories as follows:
Arts: In this category we teach several Indian classical dance forms, folk dance forms, classical music and folk/film music. Currently, we are offering classes in Kuchipudi dance and Bharathanatyam dance (traditional and authentic classical dance forms from southern India), Folk dances (several folk forms from all over India), Carnatic vocal (an authentic and traditional classical music from southern India) and Folk/music.
Languages:In this category we teach Indian languages as each state of India has a local language.
Currently, we are offering Telugu (Andhra Pradesh state language) and Hindi (National language).
Public performances: Showcasing the talent is one of the main objectives of this organization there by helping children in improving their self-confidence, inter-personal skills and teamwork. We intend to use these programs to promote understanding and harmony among diverse cultures and at the same time give the opportunity to children to broaden their intellectual horizons, improve teamwork and build their self-confidence.
These after-school cultural enrichment program is offerted to the children on both weekdays and weekends.
