Mission Statement

Our mission is to support the Mexican and Latino immigrant population of the New York area as well as to empower the community and provide access to services that would enhance immigrants quality of life and allow them to reach sustainable social and economic development.

Description

Mixteca is a grass-roots community-based organization located in Sunset Park that was established in 2000 by a group of concerned community members to respond to the host of critical health, social, and educational needs facing the burgeoning Mexican and Central American immigrant community settling in Brooklyn.

This organization is helping many Latinos, and specially immigrants.Staff is great with working with people, they make you feel at home, great hospitality.I'm very grateful for the opportunities that Mixteca organization has provided in my life and continues doing for many other Latinos.
