The daily struggles facing a family whose child has been diagnosed with a life threatening or life altering illness can be consuming. The simple joys of being a family can easily be lost in the frequent doctor’s appointments, hospital visits, and treatments. This is something the founding family of Billy’s Gift knows all too well.

On June 27, 1980, Bill and Belinda were blessed with a baby boy. Billy was welcomed into this world at a healthy 9lb 6oz. Soon after Billy’s first birthday he was diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia and the dreams Bill and Belinda had for their son were sidetracked by his traumatic illness. Heartbreakingly, five short years later Billy lost his battle with cancer.

Billy’s life was a precious gift, in his memory our organization will strive to provide a child living with a life threatening or life altering illness the gift of a dream bedroom make over or celebration. We are a nonprofit organization founded to provide families experiencing these challenges an escape from the daily worries and simply allow a child to enjoy being a child. We believe that every child’s life is a cause for celebration, let us help celebrate your child.
