Youth InterACTIVE (YI), an Austin, Texas-based, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, is the provider of Texas' only state-sponsored, health- and fitness-based after school programs.Youth InterACTIVE (YI) provides central Texas youth and families with creative and progressive health- and fitness-oriented programming, information and events.
This year's landmark event is the Sun & Ski Sports, Sports and Music Festival. It is going to be held on May 20th at the RRISD's Athletic Complex. There are many volunteer opportunities available throughout the day. Sign up for as many 2-hour shifts as you would like! We'd love to have you on our team!! We ask that volunteers be at least 14 years of age and we encourage groups and families to sign up together.
Sun & Ski Sports, Youth InterACTIVE, and the Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD), invite you to participate in this exciting event by volunteering for a day filled with sports, music, and fun for the entire Central Texas community!! The Sun & Ski Sports, Sports and Music Festival is Texas' largest sports and music festival geared towards youth and families. There are numerous volunteer opportunities for you, some include: helping with a 5K Run/Race, a Family Adventure Challenge Race (sure to be entertaining!!), YMCA of Great Williamson County's 3-on-3 Hoops Tournament, a Sports Tournament with flag football, ultimate disc, and soccer. If music is what you love and you have sound experience, sign up to help out with the Battle of the Bands compeition!! Plus, there are many other fun volunteer activities that you could get involved with, for instance, if you enjoy helping people, we are looking for volunteers to run our Information and Registration booths, or sign up for Water Patrol!!
