Mission Statement

The Redwood Community Health Coalition (RCHC) is a coalition of community health centers in Sonoma, Napa, Marin and Yolo counties. RCHC supports its members' mission to provide high-quality cost-efficient care to all, regardless of ability to pay.

Description

As a network of clinics and community health centers, we are dedicated to strengthening a community-wide system of primary care health services available to our diverse and multi-cultural populations.

Our service area is located north of San Francisco, California, and includes frontier rural, agricultural, suburban and urban communities with a total population of approximately one million people, where 10% of the total population lives beneath the federal poverty level and 24% lives beneath 200% of the poverty level.

The two most significant ethnic groups are white non-Hispanic (66% of the population) and Hispanics (23%). Hispanics are the fastest growing segment of the population. 16% of the total population has no insurance and 11% use Medi-Cal or Healthy Families (SCHIP).
