Description

We partner students with volunteer tutors and tailor the tutoring format around each student's needs. We offer one-on-one tutoring, converational group tutoring, and classes involving family literacy.

Students and tutors are partnered according to schedules, personal interests, and/or occupations. They usually meet twice each week at a convenient public location such as a coffee shop, the library, a city park, or at the Literacy Council. Students advance at their own pace, guided and encouraged by their partner tutors. The results are incredible!
