The Mount Shasta Chamber is an active business association with membership of over 375, working to keep Mount Shasta an economically healthy and aesthetically pleasing place to live. The Chamber recommends local products or services and Chamber businesses are referred to newcomers, visitors and area residents. The Chamber provides networking and promotional opportunities, professional and personal development as well as committee and task force involvement. A highlight of the Chamber's activities are the annual events such as, July 4th street fair and parade, Summit Century Bike Ride, Shasta Taiko Music Festival, D.A.R.E. Car Show & Cool Mountain Nights street fair, book and art walks and the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
