Mission Statement

The prevention of traumatic accidental injuries and deaths in children under the age of 14 in the Columbus area through community partnerships, distribution of safety equipment and education on its proper use; public awareness; and advocacy.

Description

Kids will be kids, and skinned knees, bruised shins, and scraped elbows happen. But we work hard to protect kids from disabling injuries and deaths that don't have to happen. One family every hour loses a child to a preventable injury.

Injuries are the #1 killer of kids in the U.S., and while the statistics are hard, the solutions are easy with simple precautions.
