Mission Statement

Lao Family is a non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 charitable organization. Our mission is to assist diverse low-income immigrant and refugee and other limited English speaking communities to adapt to life in the United States and to achieve long term social and economic self-sufficiency. Lao Family aims to inspire individuals and communities to set goals, utilize their imagination, believe in themselves, and to become active contributing members of society. Lao Familyâ s staff is multilingual and multicultural, speaking 15 languages and has received recognition from many organizations as a model refugee and immigrant service agency.
