The Federal Bureau of Prisons promotes reentry through its mission to "provide work and other self-improvement opportunities to assist offenders in becoming law-abiding citizens." Reentry comprises a wide array of programs and activities across Bureau divisions, regions, institutions, residential reentry centers, and other components.
We need volunteers and community partners who will assist inmates in gaining the skills needed to succeed in society, and provide reentry information to staff and inmates. Volunteers and community partners are an integral part of the success of the Bureau of Prisons’ reentry initiative.
