Description
The Cedar Valley Bicycle Collective is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit volunteer-driven community bicycle resource.
We are here to advocate bicycling as a viable means of transportation for commuting, fitness, and recreation.
We promote environmental sustainability by accepting any and all donations of bicycles and bicycle-related parts and accessories. Good quality bicycles, parts and accessories area available for purchase, while damaged bicycles and parts are separated and recycled.
COMMUNITY
To build a stronger Cedar Valley for all, we work with other community-based organizations to promote a healthy, diverse, and well-educated citizenry. Residents of the Cedar Valley can 'Earn-A-Bike’ by volunteering for local non-profit organizations. We also serve the community by partnering with local agencies to host bicycle rodeos for local children. We also plan to organize an after school program for high school students interested in anything bicycle related.
EDUCATION
Want to learn how to work on your own bicycle? We offer bicycle repair clinics for volunteers as well as the general public. Join our Facebook page or join our email list for information on future repair clinics!
