Lighthouse Mission Ministries

The mission speaks for itself and has been for the past 92years, offering hand up, not a handout,to end the cycle of homelessness. The programs are available for all levels and the people behind these programs that make it happen. I'm very proud to be a part of this team who help men,women , families with children. Meals cooked my the most amazing cooks , whom are also graduates from the programs offered by the mission. Working side by side with each and everyone also sharing the simple faces of the ones we serve each and everyday is a true blessing. I will continue my volunteering with the Mission and also willing to get involve in many more projects that may come. Super Blessed to be a part of this organization.

I was apprehensive when I first came to volunteer at the Lighthouse Mission. I didn't know what would be required of me. Immediately my fears were put at ease. The work staff and other volunteers made me feel most welcome. It is wonderful to work alongside folks with a common purpose to help others who are in need. This has proved to be a most rewarding experience for me personally. I look forward to continue volunteering at the Lighthouse Mission.
