Description

Beechwood - Post Acute & Transitional Care is located at 31 Vauxhall Street in New London. Within minutes of I-95 and the Gold Star Memorial Bridge, Beechwood is one of the the most modern rehabilitation and nursing centers in New London County.

Beechwood has two distinguishing features. The first is a $4.8 million addition which includes a 30-bed, state-of-the-art rehabilitation floor and a 30-bed traditional nursing floor completed in 1994. The second is the historic Newcomb Mansion, Beechwood’s original building, which was renovated and restored following the completed addition.

The Newcomb Mansion, with its original 1898 Victorian features such as leaded glass windows, golden oak paneling and tiled fireplaces, houses our dining rooms, hospitality suite, recreation areas, chapel and offices.

The combination of the old and the new gives Beechwood patients access to the most modern treatments and techniques in a setting that reflects the warmth and beauty of a stately and gracious home.

Beechwood - Post Acute & Transitional Care is the best rehabilitation experience; and, our reputation proves this. Our rehabilitation clinic is Medicare certified to provide inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation and wellness services. If you should need services after your stay, our therapists will continue your care on an outpatient basis.
