Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide local youth with an opportunity to develop sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, and leadership skills through participation in football and cheer leading. We will require our participants to maintain academic standards and excellent classroom behavior and we will strive to ensure they excel on and off the field. We will produce well-rounded young athletes with strong character, sound minds and healthy bodies.

Description

Novato Youth Football and Cheer is affiliated with Pop Warner. We are a youth football and cheer organization serving girls and boys ages 5 to 15.

Our Season begins on 8/1. The regular season ends on 10/31. There are sometimes post regular season activities.

We practice at San Jose Middle School in Novato. Our games are played an Novato High School. We play four home games and travel to other cities for the other four games.

We are looking for two head cheer coaches and two assistant coaches. To be a head coach you must be at least 21 years old. To be an assistant coach you must be 18.

In August we practice 5 days a week for the first two weeks. After that we practice 3 days a week and then have game day on either Sat or Sun.

As a coach you will be supported by the Cheer Director and Assistant Cheer Director. Training will be provided before the season begins.
