Supporting the creation of independent film in Greater Boston. We're a non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for local filmmakers to screen their work, engaging new audiences in the appreciation of local independent film, and empowering the next generation of filmmakers.

Real Stories. Reel Vision. Empowering the next generation of filmmakers In the fall of 2005, the NFS launched Reel Vision, a youth filmmaking program designed to teach youth self-expression through film. Over the course of three months, Reel Vision participants created Public Service Announcements and documentaries about issues they felt were relevant to their community.
