Mission: Building hope for children and families through education, counseling and intervention programs to Stop Child Abuse Now.
Educational Services
SCAN offers training to civic organizations, healthcare and daycare providers, and other concerned groups on identification and handling of child abuse and neglect.
Parenting Classes
Classes covering child management, communication, child development, stress
management, self-esteem issues, sexual abuse prevention, and infant care. The classes typically meet once a week for seven to twelve sessions, There can be a fee to help defray administrative costs.
Parent Aide Program
A home visitation program in which Volunteer Parent Aides make home visits to families struggling with discipline or other parenting issues, The Parent Aide fosters change in parenting behavior, helps with problem solving, encourages access to community services, and improves parent child interaction.

Anyone may call SCAN with questions about child abuse or neglect or to be referred to appropriate services. Calls are confidential,
Supervised Visitation
A program developed to provide visitations for a parent and a child in a safe environment monitored by professionally trained personnel.
