Somerville Mediation Program

The Somerville Mediation Program mediates landlord/tenant, summary process, small claims, neighborhood conflicts and consumer disputes at the Somerville District Court and in the community. We are presently seeking trained mediators to add to our roster who are available during the day. These volunteers will have the opportunity to mediate in a court setting while being mentored by an experienced mediator. Potential volunteer mediators must have completed a 32-hour basic mediation training. Program coordinator will provide mentoring, instruction and training to enable the volunteer to obtain Trial Court certification
