The mission of the City of Lakes AmeriCorps program is to help ensure all children succeed both socially and academically regardless of race, culture, ethnicity, native language, gender, poverty level, disability, or any other status.

Description

City of Lakes AmeriCorps is a national service program in partnership with Minneapolis Community Education and the Multilingual Department of Minneapolis Public Schools. We strive to bridge the language gap, increase academic language proficiency and academic achievement for intermediate English Learner students in Minneapolis Public Schools.
