The TWIG, chartered in 1933, has donated over $1.5 million to Inova Alexandria Hospital, primarily from funds raised through itsTwig Thrift Shop located in Old Town Alexandria. Each September, The TWIG hosts its Annual Historic Homes Tour to also raise funds. Proceeds from this year's show are pledged for the Twig Pavilion, a 16 single-room telemetry unit that provides short-stay care for patients who need assistance for less than 48 hours.
