Mission Statement
Anatomically Correct is dedicated to showcasing work by visual artists in alternative spaces in a combined effort to diversify, educate and promote community awareness of the visual arts. Anatomically Correct also holds regular art workshops and seminars.
Description
Anatomically Correct has presented exhibitions in the following venues: Apollo Theater, Apple Tree Theatre, Bailiwick Repertory Theatre, Gilda?s Club Chicago, The Goodman Theatre, National Pastime Theatre, the North Shore Center for Performing Arts, Northlight Theatre, Prop Thtr, Steppenwolf Theatre, Strawdog Theatre, and The Theatre Building, in addition to other venues such as the Skokie Public Library. Anatomically Correct has also helped the following organizations by helping to raise their public awareness and assisting them in their fundraising efforts: R.E.S.T. (Residents for Emergency Shelter), the National Vietnam Veterans Art Museum, Help Hospitalized Veterans, the Women for Women Foundation and C.A.N. (Cure Autism Now).
