Mission Statement

The mission of the Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department is to provide a wide range of recreational programs for individuals of various ages, skill levels, interests, social needs and economic capabilities that collectively enhance the overall quality of life within the City of Cape Coral.

Description

The Yacht Club was built in 1958 and is one of the original landmarks of the City. Located directly on the Caloosahatchee River in a beautifully landscaped setting, the Yacht Club Community Park encompasses a wide range of facilities and amenities including the public beach, fishing pier, and community pool.

The ballroom is a popular rental spot for weddings, private parties or business meetings. An enclosed beach pavilion is also available for picnics, BBQ’s, birthday parties and other casual events.
