Description
Garfield Jubilee Association, Inc. (GJA) is a Christian-based, non-profit, community development corporation established in 1983. GJA’s core programs are housing development, comprehensive housing counseling and workforce development. Through its workforce development program, GJA has 16 years of experience in operating academic, employment and training programs for youth ages 14-24 years of age through its Youthbuild and Summer Youth Employment programs. The programs provide GED training, academic enrichment, postsecondary education and resources, construction theory and actual hands on experience construction, life skills, customer service training, job readiness and placement and case management.
