Mission Statement

Growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous. The Stella Adler Studio of Acting is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to the perpetuation of this idea, so elemental to the life, work and spirit of Stella Adler. Our mission is to create an environment with the purpose of nurturing theatre artists who value humanity, their own and others, as their first and most precious priority while providing art and education to the greater community.

Description

1. Provide world class actor training

2. Adler Outreach - providing free year long actor training to inner city youth

3. Art Series - presenting free jazz and classical concerts, poetry readings and artist lectures to the public

4. Harold Clurman Lab Theater Company - professional theater company

5. Jacob Adler Center for the Translation of Yiddish Plays

I think that joining organization makes it good for people to gain good experience, and to work as a team.
