Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The Denver Adult Down Syndrome Clinic provides quality health care to adolescents and adults with Down Syndrome, education for their families and caregivers, and consultative services for their health providers.
The clinic is open two days a month to see patients for consultative care. We have a medical doctor, trained in working with persons with Down syndrome and a clinical social worker, who does psychosocial evaluation, counseling and referrals. We offer innovative post secondary adult education classes that promote independent living and communication skills on DU's campus called ALIVE! (Ability Life skills Independence Vitality Education!)
