Mission Statement

The Animal Wellness Foundation's mission is to reduce the number of animals euthanized in the overcrowded Los Angeles area shelters.

Description

Founded in 2012, the Animal Wellness Foundation emerged from the trenches of a veterinary hospital in Marina del Rey, CA. The veterinary hospital staff often found themselves taking in stray pets and reaching into their own pockets to pay for treatments when cleints lacked the necessary funds to save their pets. After realizing the problem was larger than the hospial could handle, the Animal Wellness Foundation was formed.

Animal Wellness Foundation helps animals in many unique ways...

  • Rescuing animals found in situations of abuse, neglect, or abandonment
  • Rescuing animals that are at risk for euthanasia from overcrowded Los Angeles area shelters.
  • Finding loving forever families for the animals in our care.
  • Funding spay, neuter, and vaccination programs.
