Through education, advocacy and research, the American Lung Association of Florida
strives to improve the health of the community.
Activities include:

• Working with youth to prevent tobacco use and helping those quit who have already begun this deadly addiction.
  
• Helping communities to fight the effects of asthma and working with school children to better manage their disease.
  
• Fighting for cleaner air, both indoors and outside
  
• Funding life-enhancing research into the cause and cures of lung disease.
