Mission Statement

We believe that a flourishing arts community enriches a neighborhood's quality of life both economically and culturally. It is our goal to support the artist's ability to earn a living a well as encourage education in the arts by offering a wide variety of creative opportunities for residents of all ages. By partnering with local merchants, neighborhood associations and artists, we hope to encourage a lively arts community in Collinwood.

Description

Arts Collinwood is a grass roots organization made up of artists and art appreciators who live in the Collinwood area, a neighborhood within the city of Cleveland. It sponsors community programs in visual arts, dance, theater, and music through an art gallery, a summer arts day camp, after school classes in dance and drama, holiday craft exhibits, and classes in a diversity of artist-led workshops.
