The MCC was created in 1983 and is dedicated to accomplishing natural resource projects, providing jobs, training, and conservation education, as well as promoting volunteer opportunities. MCC places AmeriCorps members throughout Maine to serve on environmental and conservation projects. Positions range from 5 to 10 month commitments.
