Mission Statement

CPIC, Inc primary mission is to promote healthy lifestyles amongst persons of color especially those of Caribbean descent through out the world in a professional, culturally based atmosphere, where all those involved may benefit from knowledge and access to counseling, testing, education and life skills, giving them the opportunity to maintain a totally healthy life style.

Description

CPIC, Inc. is a non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer organization holding a 501 (3) I.R.S. tax-exemption, incorporated in New York State and registered in Washington DC, with an NGO in the Caribbean. CPIC has provided support care services and health education to hundreds of people of color in our community of New York tri-state, Washington DC metropolitan area and the Caribbean. The organization started off as a grass roots effort under the auspices of the Brethren Methodist Church, to assist in meeting the health needs of Caribbean-Americans and Caribbean populations who are faced with significant challenges in the areas of HIV/AIDS, birth defects, chronic diseases and other forms of disabilities.
