Mission Statement
Lost Paws Sterilization, Education and Rescue is committed to end the unnecessary euthanization of companion animals by providing spay and neuter services to communities in need. We believe that every rescue is a life worth saving- no animal is a Lost Cause.
Description
Lost Paws is a non profit rescue. We are an all breed rescue which means that we do not discriminate against the breed of any dog (and sometimes cats) in need. We have rescued over three hundred pets in the last three years. Although we are not breed specific we do rescue a great number of Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas. These two breeds are the top two types of dogs put to sleep in the county shelters for many reasons. They are over bred and not as desired as many of the other breeds.
Besides being a rescue we are an active organization working in the community to imporve the lives of many pets living in low income communities. We offer free sterilization and vaccinations to families that otherwise could not afford them. We provide medical care for families that can not afford to treat their animals. We also offer food and educate about the importance of nutrition. We have been working in the same community in Phoenix for the past three years and have made it our mission to improve the lives of the pets in this area and also decrease the numbers of unwanted animals born into this community..
There is a lot of opportunity within this organization to satisfy your passion to help.
