The Broomfield Council of the Arts and Humanities, is seeking new members for its Board of Directors.
"The objective here is to have an open recruitment process which provides an opportunity for anyone in our community to apply to serve on the BCAH Board of Directors" says Nancy Brace, current President of the Board of Directors.
Created in 1973 to address the artistic needs of the city of Broomfield, the Council runs on grants and annual memberships and contributions in order to operate. The Broomfield Council on the Arts and Humanities is a non profit, member focused organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and humanities. BCAH strives for quality programs by nurturing creative ideas, fostering community participation, facilitating professional excellence in member offerings, and ensuring inclusive access for residents of Broomfield and surrounding communities.
"Like many non-profit boards, we're looking to further diversify our board in multiple ways," said Brace "Skills and talents are very important as are other considerations-- neighbourhood involvement, passion for the arts, business acumen, commitment to mission, willingness to serve."
The deadline to apply is April 19, 2013 The Board of Directors will follow up with all interested candidates.
