I feel truly upset that I couldn't participate for such a cause. I have friends and family with this known disease. But I do recommend others to please join such events to raise awareness. For it is effecting others.

As a lupus patient myself I know firsthand the impact this disease can have on the lives of not only the people living with lupus but also on the family members who are helping care for them. The LFA is committed to raising awareness to an otherwise unknown disease. I am asking that you join me and the Lupus Foundation of America in our efforts to raise awareness of lupus because together we can help end its brutal impact.
