Mission Statement

The New Haven Diaper Bank strives to provide free diapers to New Haven families living in poverty. We believe that clean diapers are a basic need that is not being addressed for children in poverty. Having an adequate supply of clean diapers helps children grow healthier and with more self respect.

We are committed to raising awareness in the New Haven community of the issues facing families living in poverty, especially of the needs of these families for basics like diapers.

Description

We are a grassroots organization committed to providning children living in poverty their basic needs. We are set up on the model of a food bank. Provindg diapers to existing social services agencies in New Haven who then provide the diapers to families in need.
