Description

The Kevin Dare Foundation and its Life...Back On Track scholarship program provides the necessary funds for selected students to attend the college or university of their choice. Kevin James Dare was an accomplished and experienced pole vaulter. On February 23rd, 2002, Kevin, a sophomore at the Pennsylvania State University, was competing at the Big Ten Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships when he tragically passed away after hit his head on the metal planting box where he had planted his pole for the jump.

Kevin’s life exemplified a legacy of integrity, inspiration and indomitable spirit. Thus, we are inspired to help students who exhibit the courage, strength and fortitude to rise above their own personal challenges in determination to achieve their dreams.

The Kevin Dare Foundation strives to serve as a leading resource to all injured or ill student athelets, as well as their families and the communities that support them.
