Description

The American Cancer Society is recruiting volunteers to support the 2006 Tobacco Tax Initiative. The Tobacco Tax Initiative seeks to raise the tax on cigarettes and other tobacco products. Revenue from the tax increase will fund tobacco control; cancer prevention and detection; treatment and research; and improved access to health care. We are looking for volunteers to commit to at least 1 three-hour shift during the months of February through April to help gather signatures. Training will be provided
