Mission Statement

Showing kindness, doing justice, and service those in need. We provide services specifically to refugees, asylum seekers and asylees.

Description

Refugee Resettlement provides services for refugees being resettled in the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas. Services include provision of a furnished apartment and case management-including assistance with government paperwork, accessing medical care, and guidance in adjusting to life in the United States with an emphasis on securing employment for all those able to work.

The Asylum Program of Southern Arizona's primary purpose is to provide legal assistance for immigrants fleeing persecution who seek political asylum but are unable to hire attorneys to represent them before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) and the Immigration Court.
