The Friends of the Library of Tampa-Hillsborough , Inc. is an organization of residents who share a passionate commitment to a strong library system. The Friends of the Library work to expand the network of libraries, strengthen the library collections, and support a varied menu of programs for the residents of our community

Description

The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit group that raises money to support library programs, collections, and resources and to advocate for libraries by sharing information about the value of libraries with the community and elected officials. Funds are raised in the Friends bookstores, book sales, an annual Burgert Brothers Photographic Calendar, and the Four Seasons Author Series.

you can give a fish to a man and he eat for a day but if you teach him to fish and he eat for life the same is true with all education and books are a key part of this which is why I am a member and donate all my used books to them even thought I could sell them and yes yes i can really use the money now but the library needs it more.
